GREAT WAR MEMORIAL

Memorial to the members of the Church congregation who took part in the Great War (WW1). Note -  not all of these were fatalaties. For instance Leopold Graham-Toler had been a P.O.W. and later fought with the Karelia Division in Finland post war against the Bolsheviks. Charles Foley is recorded here under his fathers name Seropian. Not only did he survive the war he was also awarded an O.B.E.

Significantly the women such as Lady Dunalley who played an equal part are not recorded..
